Winchester 12 Shotgun (mfg 1942), 12 Gauge, 30″ Barrel

The Winchester Model 12 (originally introduced as the Model 1912) manufactured in 1942 is a legendary, hammerless pump-action shotgun featuring a 30-inch barrel. Widely known as "The Perfect Repeater," the Model 12 was a masterclass in classic machining, featuring solid steel and premium American walnut components without any stamped metal parts. By 1942, Winchester was transitioning heavily into wartime production for World War II, making civilian hunting models from this exact year highly fascinating for collectors.
