Winchester 1897 Shotgun (mfg 1911), 12 Gauge, 29″ Barrel

The Winchester Model 1897 (12 Gauge) manufactured in 1911 with a 29" barrel is a historic, highly collectible pump-action shotgun designed by the legendary John Moses Browning. Known as the "Model 97" or "M97," it was the premier exposed-hammer shotgun of its era. While 12-gauge standard field versions typically shipped with 30-inch barrels, a 29-inch profile usually indicates a custom factory order or a barrel that was professionally trimmed during its century-long history.
