Description
The Winchester Model 90 Rifle chambered in .22 WRF with a 24-inch octagonal barrel is a legendary, slide-action rimfire rifle designed by the iconic John Moses Browning. Initially designated as the Model 1890, Winchester shortened the name to "Model 90" circa 1919. While standard catalog production for this rifle officially ended in 1932, Winchester continued assembling and clean-up shipping a very small number of rifles from remaining parts inventory through the 1930s. A 1936 manufacture date places this specific rifle at the absolute tail-end of the Model 90 lifecycle, making it a highly unique, late-era specimen.
