Winchester Model 62A ~ .22 Short , Long, Long Rifle

Winchester Model 62A slide-action takedown rifle, chambered for .22 short, long, or long rifle. Made circa 1949-50 according to available serial number records. Features a 23 inch round barrel, exposed hammer, tubular magazine, adjustable rear sight, and front blade sight. Magazine capacity is approximately 20 rounds of short, 17 rounds of long, or 15 rounds of long rifle, depending on ammunition dimensions. It's in very good overall condition, with about 85% bluing. The receiver has attractive, uniform bluing, while the barrel shows scattered superficial oxidation spotting and minor finish wear, with the metal still smooth to the touch. The walnut stock and grooved forearm have some normal age-darkening, light scratches, handling marks, and a few small dings, but no cracks or deep gouges. The bore is clean and bright, the rifling looks good, and the pump action works smoothly. No box or case.
