Winchester ~ Model 71 ~ .348 Winchester Center Fire

The Winchester Model 71 was the only production rifle ever built for the .348 Winchester Center Fire round. It was an effective big-game rifle/cartridge combo that was also the last of the large-frame lever action rifles produced by Winchester. This one is from 1948, according to Winchester's serial number chart. It weighs 7 lbs and 14 oz. We don't have much information on the history of this one, as it came to us from an estate sale, so we included a good number of photos to help make up for that. The action works fine, and the bore is bright. There is no box or case included.
