Winchester ~ Model 1873 (Dated 1890) ~ .38 WCF

In fair condition, wood has finish missing and has scratches. Receiver and barrel have surface rust and some pitting. Serial #336366B dated 1890. Manufactured between 1873 and 1923, the original Model 1873 was a raging success due to its reliability, rapid-fire capability, and the practicality of being chambered in the same popular handgun cartridges of the day (like .44-40 WCF, .38-40 WCF, and .32-20 WCF). This allowed frontiersmen to carry a single type of ammunition for both their rifle and revolver.
