Winchester Model 70

If you are looking for a rifle that will never let you down, you are looking at the Winchester Model 70. There is a very specific reason this gun earned the title 'The Rifleman's Rifle.' It represents the gold standard of American bolt-actions. Most modern rifles on the market today use cheap, stamped plastic parts and a 'push-feed' bolt system because it is inexpensive to manufacture. The Model 70 gives you a true Controlled Round Feed. See this massive steel claw extractor? The second a round leaves the magazine, that claw physically locks onto the cartridge rim. It guides it flawlessly into the chamber every single time. It cannot double-feed, it cannot jam, and it cycles smoothly even under intense pressure. Whether you are on a once-in-a-lifetime hunt or passing it to the next generation, that mechanical reliability is something you can't put a price tag on. This would be a great add to your collection and make for a fun day at the range.
