Winchester Model 70 Extreme VSX 30-06 Springfield 22" 5-Round Rifle

The Winchester Model 70 Extreme VSX is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield, built on the Model 70 platform and intended for field use. Its steel receiver is machined from solid stock, and the flat bottom profile provides added surface area for bedding, which is done with a two-part epoxy at the front and rear to limit movement inside the stock during firing.

The rifle has a 22-inch free-floating barrel with a 1:10 twist and a muzzle brake. Its trigger is the M.O.A. Trigger System, and the action uses the classic Controlled Round Feed bolt with a claw extractor and a three-position safety. The receiver and barrel carry a Tungsten Gray Cerakote finish, and the rifle is drilled and tapped for optics, with a fixed Bell & Carlson synthetic stock and a 13.75-inch length of pull.
