Winchester ~ Model 9417 Traditional ~ .17 HMR

Winchester Model 9417 Traditional lever-action in .17 HMR. Made during the model's limited production run of 2003-2004, this relatively scarce rifle is part of the popular Winchester rimfire family. This gun comes from a well-cared-for private collection. Features a 20 1/2" blued barrel, blued receiver, checkered walnut straight-grip stock and forearm, adjustable rear sight, hooded front sight, and 11-round tubular magazine. Condition is estimated at 95% or better, with only light handling wear on the wood and the metal. The blued finish remains excellent, and the walnut stocks have kept their attractive appearance. The bore is clean and bright with strong rifling, and the action is smooth. Includes the original Winchester factory box with matching serial number, a factory hang tag, and couple of information sheets. There is no user manual. This is a nice example of a short lived model. A thoughtful additon for the collector seeking a clean, original specimen of an uncommon gun.
