Winchester Model 70 Super Grade Gloss AAA Claro Walnut .264 Win 26 Barrel 3-Rounds

Winchester Model 70 Super Grade Features The Winchester Model 70 Super Grade is built on the solid Pre-64 action design prized by hunters for its reliability under the toughest field conditions anywhere in the world. A three-position safety allows safe bolt manipulation and the adjustable M.O.A. Trigger System delivers a crisp consistent break that helps hunters place shots precisely on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. One-piece steel bottom metal and a cross bolt add rigidity to the action for improved accuracy and the 26 target crown barrel is drilled and tapped for easy scope mounting. The rich gloss blued finish on the barreled action complements the warm tones of the walnut stock. The AAA Claro walnut stock is a striking specimen with dark brown coloration and dark mineral streaks expertly carved with a traditional fleur di lis checkering pattern. A black end cap steel grip cap and inletted swivel studs complete the stock s fine detailing while an ebony forearm tip adds a refined contrast. The shadowline cheekpiece places the eye in perfect alignment with a mounted scope for quick repeatable target acquisition. A Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad tames the recoil of the 264 Win Mag cartridge keeping this 8 lb rifle comfortable to shoot from the bench or in the field.
