The Winchester Model 70 Super Grade is a bolt-action centerfire rifle built for hunting, with a highly polished, deeply blued steel finish and a fancy walnut stock. It uses a controlled round feed action with a claw extractor and a blade-type ejector, in the style of the pre-1964 Model 70.

This rifle is chambered in 300 Win Mag and has a 26-inch cold hammerforged, free-floated barrel with a recessed target crown. It weighs 8.6 pounds with an overall length of 46.75 inches and holds 3 rounds. The receiver is forged steel with an integral recoil lug, and the one-piece steel bottom metal includes a steel floorplate. It has no sights and is designed to be used with a scope, which is not included.
