Winchester~1895~Unlabeled Caliber

For your consideration, we have a Winchester model 1895 rifle to offer. The Winchester Model 1895 was the last lever-action rifle designed by John Moses Browning for Winchester, introduced to the public in 1896. Unlike earlier Winchester rifles, it featured a fixed box magazine located under the action, replacing the traditional tubular magazine. This innovation allowed the rifle to safely chamber pointed (spitzer) bullets and handle the higher pressures of smokeless powder cartridges, making it stronger than previous lever-action models. This historic lever-action rifle is in good condition but has a couple of cracks in the forearm stock.
