Winchester ~ 55 ~ .30 WCF

This Winchester Model 55 Takedown chambered in .30 W.C.F. (.30-30 Winchester) is a classic lever-action rifle in very good vintage condition. The metal retains an attractive blue finish with light handling wear, while the walnut stock shows honest field marks consistent with age. The desirable takedown configuration allows for easy transport and storage, making this a highly collectible and practical example of an early Winchester sporting rifle. Introduced in 1924, the Winchester Model 55 was a sporting variation of the famed Model 1894 and was produced in relatively limited numbers. Chambered in the legendary .30 W.C.F., it earned a reputation as a reliable and effective hunting rifle. Serial number 1070134 indicates manufacture circa 1930, placing this rifle firmly within the golden age of Winchester lever-action production.
