WINCHESTER ~ 23 XTR PIGEON GRADE ~ 12 GAUGE

The Winchester Model 23 XTR features include light weight, Prince of Wales round knob pistol grip stock, full beavertail fore end, coined receiver, and blued barrels. The receiver has a floral Acanthus engraving. It has been fired a bit, but locks up tight to the face. It actually opens/closes with a little resistance, so it is tight on the pin. Nice little shotgun with XTR-grade wood and finish. A bit unusual with the shorter 25-1/2 inch barrel. YOM: estimated 1982/83.
