Description
The WMD Guns NiB-X Bolt Carrier Group is a replacement bolt carrier group without hammer for DPMS-compatible .308 AR-10 pattern rifles chambered in 308 Winchester or 7.62x51mm NATO. It is intended as a drop-in replacement for the bolt carrier assembly in those platforms.
The carrier is machined from 8620 steel and the bolt from 9130 steel, with a properly staked key. The carrier is finished in NiB-X, a nickel boron coating that the manufacturer describes as reducing friction, resisting corrosion and abrasion, and discouraging carbon buildup. The finish is silver in color. The product is made in the USA.
