Woox Solo Brown 8.5" Convex Carbon Steel Camping Axe 19" Hickory Handle

Woox Solo Features The Woox Solo features a tempered carbon steel head measuring 8.25 inches long and 3.5 inches tall giving it enough mass for efficient chopping while staying light enough to carry comfortably on a pack. Its convex edge is ground for durability and ease of resharpening in the field important qualities for a tool meant to see repeated use far from a sharpening station. The 0.5 inch blade width paired with a 1.5 inch adz width lets the Solo handle both fine trimming work and heavier mattock style tasks with the same head. The pipe-backed topline of the mattock reinforces the tool against wear and accidental ground contact while doubling as a grip point for choking up during detailed crafting work. An Appalachian hickory handle provides a traditional shock absorbing grip that pairs well with the steel head s balance and the complete axe measures 19 inches overall while weighing just 1.85 pounds. This light weight makes the Solo easy to carry on extended backcountry trips without adding significant pack weight. The sharpened beard on the head allows cross body sweeping motions for clearing lush vegetation along trails extending the tool s usefulness beyond simple chopping. Built for campers bushcrafters and backcountry travelers the Woox Solo delivers multiple tool functions in a single compact well balanced axe.
