Description
The XS Sights DXT2 Big Dot is a front and rear night sight set for the Smith & Wesson M&P Shield pistol. It uses a large high-contrast front dot with a low-profile V-notch rear sight, producing a straight-line sight picture intended to keep the front sight distinct from the rear under stress.
The front sight carries a green tritium vial with an orange ring, and the rear sight has a green tritium insert with a white stripe. The tritium and convex photoluminescent dot glow in low light. The metal housings have a matte black finish, and the front sight has an outside diameter of 0.188 inch.
The set fits Smith & Wesson M&P Shield models only and will not fit Non-Shield models. User installation is possible, though a qualified gunsmith installation is recommended.
