XS Sights Standard Dot Front Sight Green Tritium for Smith & Wesson J-Frame

XS Sights Standard Dot Features The XS Sights Standard Dot replaces a factory pinned front sight with a steel Black Oxide finished blade topped by a green Tritium insert giving the shooter a sight that performs the same whether the room is bright or dark. Because the Tritium glows continuously without batteries or a charge the sight is always ready the instant the revolver is drawn with no warm up and no switch to activate. The smaller Standard Dot profile is designed for shooters who want a finer more precise aiming point than a larger dot provides making it well suited to target shooting and hunting as well as personal defense. Steel construction throughout the front and rear sight keeps the sight rugged enough for daily carry and range use alike. Installation is built around a pre-drilled pinhole so the Standard Dot is designed as an easy do it yourself upgrade on J-Frame revolvers that already carry a pinned front sight and a fixed rear including common 357 Magnum models. This straightforward fitment means a revolver owner can swap in a genuinely improved sight picture without sending the gun out for gunsmithing. The combination of a Black Oxide frame and a green Tritium dot gives strong contrast against most backgrounds helping the eye find the sight quickly under stress. For J-Frame shooters who rely on their revolver for concealed carry or home defense the XS Sights Standard Dot delivers a dependable always on aiming reference.
