Description
The XS Standard Dot Ember is a replacement front sight for the Ruger LCR revolver, made by XS Sights. It swaps the factory front sight for a high-contrast orange dot intended to improve sight picture in bright light and in fading light. The dot is luminescent, and the convex profile is meant to absorb ambient light so it glows once charged.
The sight is machined from metal with a matte black finish and has an outside diameter of 0.140 inch, which the manufacturer states fits common holsters. It is pre-drilled and includes a new retaining pin. Installation over the existing front bead is recommended to be done by a gunsmith, with thread locker. Fits Ruger LCR models in 9mm Luger, .22 Long Rifle and .22 WMR only.
