Description
The Yankee Hill Machine Phantom 5.56 Q.D. Flash Hider is a steel muzzle device for AR-15 rifles chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO. It is designed to attach YHM sound suppressors through a quick-disconnect system and to reduce visible muzzle flash.
The device has a 1/2"-28 threaded muzzle, a black phosphate finish, and a 5-port design intended to reduce visible flash. An external locking mechanism keeps heat away from the spring, and a high-temperature spring is used in the quick-disconnect system. Carbon scrapers inside the device clean the suppressor's internal support system, and a dual support system aligns the suppressor to the bore. A dust enclosure protects the internal moving parts.
