The Yankee Hill Machine MR7 is a 15-inch free-floating handguard for AR-15 rifles. Its free-floating design isolates the barrel from the handguard, so sling pressure, bipod loading, or resting the rifle on a barricade does not shift point of impact.
The handguard is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with a black hardcoat anodized finish. It has M-LOK attachment slots at every 45-degree position along its full length for lights, grips, bipods, and other accessories. A T-marked extended Picatinny top rail runs the length of the handguard, aligned with the receiver's top rail to give a consistent sighting plane for optics and back-up sights.
The MR7 is designed for AR-15 platforms and is one of the lightest handguards in its manufacturer's lineup.
