This redesign also incorporates a tool-free piston swapping system thanks to a new rear cap, simplifying maintenance procedures. The front cap has been redesigned to improve engagement with the takedown tool, further streamlining the service process. The integrated Nielsen device ensures flawless semi-automatic operation on all relevant host pistols. With 12 index points, the Sidewinder M2 allows for precise point-of-impact adjustments while the suppressor remains attached to the firearm. When tested to Mil-Std 1474D on a Glock G17 using 147gr FMJ ammunition, the Sidewinder M2 9mm exhibits an average dry sound signature of 125 dB.
