Live-fire testing on a Ransom Rest demonstrated a muzzle flip reduction in the 33 to 35 percent range with a broad sample of ammunition.The unit is compatible only with the provided ZP threadless comp barrel and installs quickly using the Ball-Vise locking system. Alignment is achieved by lining the compensator on the provided barrel, tightening the single set screw and firing to lock the interface.
