″++ZOLI DEVON 12 GAUGE″

This is a matched set of O/U 12 gauge shotguns made in Italy by ANTONIO ZOLI for Dickson & McNaughton. Produced in 2005 the serial numbers are consecutive "233713 and 233714". Both examples have 29.5" nitro barrels with a tapered ventilated file cut top-rib and ejectors. Both barrel sets are chambered for 3" shell and the upper barrels are choked "1/2" and the lowers are "1/4". The left chamber area on both barrel 1 and 2 are signed in cursive gold "Antonio Zoli". Both gun's hold-open top levers are numbered "1" and "2" in gold, both with manual safeties and integral barrel selector switches. The coin finished frames are lightly engraved in acanthus scroll with scenes of shooting in the field and club, the model "DEVON" is on a banner in a gold on the right and left side. The Dickson & McNaughton logo on the underside frame is done in gold and the right upper side trigger area is marked 'Bottega inc. C. Giovanelli' and "Made In Italy" on the right. The stock set is a two piece oil finished walnut with a checkered pistol grip, fluted straight comb, and checkered semi beavertail forend. The forend inside metal is marked for the gun "1" and "2". The butt plates on the stocks are a checkered wood with the Zoli logo. Stock measurements are the same on each gun (DC - 1 1/2" and DH - 2 1/4"), with a slight cast for a right-hand person. Both guns are in great condition and comes in a Dickson & McNaughton red lined travel case. The case does show some bumps and bruises from use. The second gun's SKU: 4366049.
