A-Zoom Action Proving Dummy Round 338 Lapua Magnum Aluminum 2 Pack

The A-Zoom Action Proving Dummy Round is a non-firing training cartridge dummy in 338 Lapua Magnum, machined from aluminum and sold as a two-pack. It is intended for dry fire practice, function testing of a rifle's action and magazine feeding, and for teaching safe handling.

The dummy has a hard anodized finish, and the raw retailer text describes it as providing smooth functioning and long cycling life, with a dry fire rating of 3000+ hits. Its red color makes it easy to distinguish from live ammunition. The retailer also suggests using snap caps to keep a firearm's spring relaxed during storage.

The round is listed for use in 338 Lapua Magnum rifles and chambers in that caliber.
