Cadex Defence CDX-MC Kraken 338 Lapua Mag 27" Threaded Bolt Action Rifle

Cadex Defence CDX-MC Kraken Features The Cadex Defence CDX-MC Kraken is built around a patented barrel change system that uses a traditional barrel-to-action threading design along with a special tool to unscrew and torque the barrel from the breech side. A single screw secures the detachable chassis base allowing fast conversion between short and long action calibers without sending the rifle back to a gunsmith. This system maintains the lowest shift of point of impact between takedown and reassembly of any multi-caliber platform available which matters most at the extreme ranges this rifle is built for. The 27 steel barrel wears a 1:9.5 twist and a match grade threaded black DLC finish suited to a sound suppressor or muzzle brake. The black DLC receiver carries a full length Picatinny top rail for mounting high magnification optics and an adjustable folding buttstock reduces the rifle s footprint for transport and storage. Black polymer grips and an overall black finish keep the Kraken s profile consistent and low visibility in the field. An adjustable two-stage trigger gives the shooter a clean predictable break essential to consistent long range accuracy and a manual safety ensures secure handling between strings of fire. At 15.9 lbs the Cadex Defence CDX-MC Kraken carries the weight needed to tame .338 Lapua Mag recoil for sustained precision shooting sessions.
