Description
The ATI Heatshield Standard is a 13.5-inch black steel heat shield designed to fit over a shotgun barrel and help dissipate heat during extended firing. It is intended for use on pump-action shotguns.
The shield is formed from steel with elongated cooling slots that allow heat to escape quickly. It carries a black oxide finish that suits most shotgun components. It slips over the barrel and is secured with the supplied hardware.
The shield is listed as fitting most 12, 16 and 20 gauge and .410 bore pump shotgun barrels. It should not be used on the Mossberg Mariner or Remington Marine Coat shotguns, and it will only fit where the barrel lug is more than 13.5 inches from the receiver.
