Description
The American Defense AD-AEMS is a quick release scope mount designed for the Holosun AEMS red dot sight. It is intended for shooters who want to detach and remount the optic quickly, or who move optics between rifles.
The mount is machined from 6061 T6 aluminum and has a hard coat T3 Mil-Spec anodized finish in black. Its lower one-third height setting places the AEMS at a co-witness position with iron sights. The mount uses a Picatinny platform and a QD Auto Lock Lever clamp, which the manufacturer states is designed to grip rails that are both in and out of specification.
The mount is built as a direct replacement for the AEMS and is sold as a single mount for that optic.
