Description
The American Defense AD-AEMS is a quick detach scope mount designed to hold a Holosun AEMS red dot sight on a Picatinny rail. It is built for use on both range platforms and tactical firearms where fast attachment and removal are useful.
The mount is machined from 6061 T6 aluminum with a black hard coat anodized finish. Its QD Auto Lock Lever can be configured to lock from the front or rear, and the mount provides a 2.33 inch centerline height, which is the night vision height used with thermal and NV devices. Adjustment is tool-less and can be done by hand or with a flat blade screwdriver.
The AD-AEMS is compatible with both in-spec and out-of-spec Picatinny rail systems, and the manufacturer states it returns to zero after removal and reinstallation.
