Description
The American Defense AD-RECON Medium Height QD Cantilever is a scope mount for attaching a 34mm scope tube to a Picatinny rail, such as the rail on a flattop AR-15. Its cantilever design positions the scope forward of the receiver, which helps set eye relief for the shooter.
The mount is precision machined from 6061 T6 aluminum and finished in black hard-coat anodize. Its QD lever uses a titanium lever system that can be adjusted by hand or with a flat-blade screwdriver, without proprietary tools. The lever can be configured to lock to the front or the rear, and the clamping surface is designed to engage the rail fully.
The mount is fully adjustable to fit both in-spec and out-of-spec Picatinny rail systems.
