American Precision Arms Gen 4 Micro Bastard 5/8x24 .30 Cal Nitrided Muzzle Brake

The Gen 4 Micro Bastard in the 5/8×24 .30 Cal nitrided version from American Precision Arms is a precision‑engineered muzzle brake that delivers serious recoil reduction in a remarkably compact and lightweight package. Its nitrided steel construction provides durability and corrosion resistance while maintaining a sleek, tactical finish. With its 5/8×24 threading, it is compatible with many .30‑caliber rifle barrels and conversions. The self‑timing lock‑nut design simplifies installation—eliminating the need for crush washers or shims—and guarantees perfect port alignment consistently. The fourth‑generation upgrades include fine‑tuned Bastard port geometry and tunable top ports designed to flatten the shooting trajectory by reducing muzzle climb, while also smoothing the recoil impulse so the shoot‑feel is softer without sacrificing performance. At roughly 0.85" outside diameter, around 2.4" in length and weighing about 2.3oz, it fits sporter‑weight barrels without adding unnecessary bulk. Ideal for hunters or precision shooters seeking premium recoil control in a minimal footprint. American Precision Arms Gen 4 Micro Bastard 5/8x24 .30 Cal Nitrided Self Timing Muzzle Brake G4M5830N
