The AR Gold Flat Trigger has had solid reputation in the AR-15 world with its drop-in simplicity, its ultra-crisp trigger break and short reset, and of course, its unique flat golden trigger shoe. The AR Gold is a single-stage trigger with a very light (6oz to 8oz) short take up. Unlike a two-stage trigger, the sear does not move during take-up. Very similar in feel and function to a great 1911 pistol trigger. And while the AR Gold recommends spending some time shooting the AR Gold Flat Trigger before making any changes, it is adjustable.
