Description
The Armaspec Carbine Length Gas Tube routes high-pressure gas tapped from the barrel through the gas block and back into the upper receiver, where it drives the bolt carrier group rearward to cycle the action. It is intended as a replacement for a worn or damaged carbine-length gas tube on AR-15 pattern rifles.
The tube is built to the carbine-length dimension of 9.8 inches and is made of stainless steel, which offers better heat and corrosion resistance than many factory mild-steel tubes. It has a silver finish and ships with its own roll pin, so installation requires driving out the old pin and tube and securing the replacement in the gas block.
The tube fits AR-15 and AR-10 carbine-length gas systems without modification. It is manufactured in the USA.
