Description
The Arsenal SAM7UF-85 is a semi-automatic AK-platform rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm, built around a reinforced under-folding buttstock. The straight-back stock locks perpendicular to the action and bore and secures on both sides of the receiver with four pins, which the manufacturer describes as reducing muzzle climb and improving control during firing.
The rifle has a 16.3-inch barrel with a 1-in-240 mm twist rate and a 14x1 mm left-hand thread with muzzle nut. It measures 35 inches overall and 25 inches folded, and weighs 7.5 pounds without magazine. The included magazine holds 10 rounds. Listed muzzle velocity is 710 m/s.
