Description
The Athlon Optics Rangecraft Velocity Pro Radar Chronograph is a shooting accessory for measuring projectile velocity to support ballistic calculations. It uses Doppler radar to detect projectiles, so it does not need to be mounted to the firearm and does not affect zeroing or barrel harmonics. Because it is not triggered by muzzle blast, it can track projectiles from firearms fitted with suppressors, muzzle brakes, compensators, and other muzzle devices.
The unit measures velocities from 65 to 5,000 feet per second and is rated for projectiles from .17 to 50 caliber, covering rifles, airguns, pistols, and archery. The listed battery life is more than 6 hours. The product is offered in a green and black finish with a 2.4-inch display.
