Athlon Talos 3-12x40 SFP Mil-Dot Reticle

Athlon Talos Features The Athlon Talos delivers a 3-12x magnification range through a 40mm objective lens giving shooters enough light-gathering capability for early morning and late evening hunts. Wide-band fully multicoated lenses maximize light transmission across the visible spectrum producing a bright high-contrast sight picture in a variety of conditions. The 0.1 MIL click value paired with 5 MIL per rotation and 20 MIL of total elevation and windage travel gives shooters precise repeatable adjustments for dialing in a zero at various distances. A side-focus parallax adjustment from 10 yards to infinity lets the shooter eliminate parallax error across a wide range of shooting distances. Housed in an aircraft-grade aluminum tube with a 1 inch diameter the Talos is nitrogen-purged to resist fogging in temperature swings and sealed against moisture intrusion. The Mil-Dot reticle sits in the second focal plane keeping the reticle a consistent size across the entire magnification range for a clean uncluttered sight picture. Capped turrets protect the elevation and windage adjustments from accidental movement during transport or rough handling in the field. At 16.2 ounces and 12 inches long the Talos is compact and light enough to mount on hunting rifles without adding unnecessary bulk.
