Description
The Mossberg 500 Retrograde is a pump-action 12 gauge shotgun built on the Mossberg 500 platform, offered with a traditional look and feel. It is a general-purpose tool for the shooter who wants a classic-style pump gun.
The shotgun has an 18.5-inch barrel with a cylinder bore choke and a bead front sight. It chambers 12 gauge 3-inch shells and holds 5 rounds. Standard pump-action features include dual extractors, steel-to-steel lockup, a top-mounted ambidextrous safety, twin action bars, and an anti-jam elevator. The overall length is 39.5 inches and the weight is 6.75 pounds.
The receiver is drilled and tapped for mounting optics. The stock and corncob forend are walnut-finished, and the gun is intended for right-handed shooters.
