In order to do this Gold Guns first has to strip all the original finish from the rifle. Then work on polishing all the exterior metal surfaces before cleaning the firearm, more polishing and then more cleaning. It is all very time consuming and a detailed process. Once that is all complete Gold Guns can do what they do best, apply the Gold. All metal parts are finished with Gold. The exceptions being of the bolt assembly, and other springs and tightly tolerance items(example:rear sight leaf spring).
