The Auto-Ordnance Thompson 1927A-1 Deluxe Lightweight is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in .45 ACP, reproduced from the original 1927A-1 Thompson engineering drawings. It uses blowback operation, firing from a closed bolt, and is intended for recreational shooting.
The rifle has a 16.5-inch blued steel barrel with cooling fins and a 1-in-16 right-hand twist, with a Cutts Compensator attached for an overall barrel length of 18 inches with the compensator.
