Auto-Ordnance M1 Carbine Iwo Jima 80th Anniversary 30 Carbine 18" 10-Round Rifle

Auto-Ordnance M1 Carbine Iwo Jima 80th Anniversary Features The Auto-Ordnance M1 Carbine Iwo Jima 80th Anniversary edition features a walnut stock deeply engraved by the artists at Altered Arsenal transforming the rifle into a powerful commemorative artifact rather than just a firearm. The individual names of many of the thousands of American servicemen who lost their lives in the battle are engraved on the stock alongside the solemn phrase Honoring the Fallen on the front. The rear stock depicts the legendary flag raising on Mount Suribachi a map of the battle military symbols and a prominent 80th Anniversary commemorative medallion creating a piece that tells the story of one of the Pacific War s defining moments. Chambered in .30 Carbine with an 18 barrel and a 1:16 twist the rifle maintains the same handling characteristics that made the original M1 Carbine popular with troops for its light weight and manageable recoil. Finished with a Parkerized metal finish in matte black the rifle balances a historically accurate appearance with modern corrosion resistance. Blade front and flip-style rear sights replicate the original M1 Carbine s sighting system for an authentic shooting experience. A crossbolt safety provides simple reliable operation consistent with the historical design. Configured with a 10-round magazine to remain compliant in California and New York this commemorative rifle serves as both a functional semi-automatic carbine and a lasting tribute for collectors historians and anyone who wishes to honor the legacy of Iwo Jima.
