B&T KH9 Covert Features The B&T USA KH9 Covert is built around the proven KH9 design updated with the latest materials and engineering to serve as a dedicated escape and evasion platform. Its magazine well and pistol grip each fold 90 degrees allowing the already flat KH9 to be discreetly stowed within limited narrow spaces and then rapidly deployed when the need arises. Once the magazine well is unfolded it naturally guides the magazine directly into the chamber area where the shooter can quickly load it by depressing the top mounted bolt hold open button or by working the charging handle. A tri-lug muzzle attachment on the 6 inch barrel allows quick mounting of a suppressor extending the platform s covert capabilities even further. Full ambidextrous upper and lower receivers finished in black with a Black Cerakote treatment on the aluminum and polymer Picatinny rail receiver make the KH9 Covert equally fast to operate for right and left handed shooters. The pistol features a double action trigger system with a three position selector switch where up is safe the middle position is fire and pressing the selector down decocks the hammer mass for safe handling. Backup iron sights provide a reliable aiming reference without relying on a mounted optic and the finger grooved grip helps secure a consistent hold under stress.
