Description
The Ballistic Advantage Modern Series Mid-Length Government Profile is a 14.5-inch replacement barrel for the AR-15 platform, chambered for 5.56x45mm NATO and compatible with 223 Remington ammunition. It is intended for owners who want to replace or upgrade the upper barrel of a mid-length gas system rifle.
The barrel is machined from 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel and finished in black QPQ, a salt-bath nitride treatment applied to improve corrosion resistance. It has a 1:7 twist rate and a 1/2x28 thread pitch at the muzzle. The profile is a government contour and weighs 1.56 pounds. The barrel is sold without sights.
The barrel fits AR-15 mid-length gas systems. The QPQ-coated M4 feed ramp extension is included with the barrel.
