Description
The Ballistic Advantage Premium Series SPR Profile is a 16-inch AR-15 barrel chambered in 6.5 Grendel Type 2, intended for builders assembling a 6.5 Grendel rifle. It is machined from 416 stainless steel and finished with a bead blasted silver surface that adds wear resistance.
The barrel uses a 1:8 twist rate suited to the heavier bullet weights common in this cartridge and is set up for a mid-length gas system. The SPR profile is intended to balance weight and rigidity. The muzzle is threaded 5/8x24, the standard pitch for 6.5 Grendel, so it accepts a compensator, brake or suppressor mount.
