Ballistic Advantage Premium Series 308 Win 18" Hanson Midlength AR-10 Barrel

Ballistic Advantage Premium Series Barrel Features The Ballistic Advantage Premium Series Barrel is machined from chrome moly vanadium steel and finished with a QPQ corrosion resistant coating that stands up to field use and repeated cleaning. Every barrel in this line undergoes HP and MPI testing a process that checks for internal flaws before the barrel ever reaches a rifle build. The proprietary BA Hanson profile uses a midlength gas system paired with a pinned low profile gas block which keeps the gas system compact while maintaining reliable cycling. A 1:10 inch twist rate stabilizes a broad range of .308 Win bullet weights giving shooters flexibility in ammunition choice. At 18 inches long and threaded 5/8x24 this barrel is ready to accept a muzzle brake compensator or suppressor right out of the box. It is worth noting that Hanson Series barrels are not designed to work with aftermarket piston conversion kits so this barrel is intended for standard direct impingement AR-10 builds. Weighing 39.3 ounces it adds meaningful heft for stability without becoming unwieldy on a mid-weight precision rifle. For builders chambering .308 Win on the AR-10 platform this barrel offers a tested durable foundation for accurate shooting.
