Barnes Pioneer 45 Colt 250 Grain JHP 20 Rounds

Barnes Pioneer 45 Colt ammunition is a hunting load built for lever guns and revolvers. It uses a 250 grain jacketed hollow point bullet from the Barnes Original line, pressure-formed from pure copper tubing around a pure lead core, and is intended for terminal performance on game.

The 250 grain bullet is listed at a muzzle velocity of 1095 feet per second. The raw retailer text describes the bullet as expanding to more than 200 percent of its original diameter on impact, and loads are described as non-corrosive with boxer-primed, reloadable brass cases.

Each box holds 20 rounds, and each case contains 10 boxes, for 200 rounds per case. The load is designed to feed and cycle from tubular magazines in lever-action rifles.
