Description
The Barrett Model 99 is a single-shot, bolt-action rifle chambered in .50 BMG, built for long-range target shooting and operational use. Its design uses a single-shot bolt action with fewer moving parts to aid rigidity and mechanical simplicity.
The rifle has a 29-inch heavy barrel with a 1-in-15 twist rate, an overall length of 47 inches, and a weight of 23 pounds. It has a black hardcoat anodized aluminum receiver, a tactical stock, a match-grade trigger, and a thumb-operated safety. There are no iron sights; the Picatinny rail is intended for optics.
The package includes a lightweight QD titanium bipod and a hard case for transport.
