Description
The Battle Arms Development VERT Gen 2 PDW is a collapsible stock system for AR-15 platform rifles, chambered for 5.56x45mm NATO and 223 Remington. It is built around a continuous cheek rest for stable shooting and a compact buffer and spring assembly.
The stock is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in Mil-Spec Type III Class 2 hard black anodizing. It uses high impact resistant S7 tool steel guide rods and a guide rod lock design. The stock offers three user-adjustable extension positions and a two-position quick release that allows a straight pull to open. The butt plate includes two QD sling swivel points. The system weighs 1.19 pounds, or 19 ounces with buffer and springs.
The system is compatible with AR-15 mil-spec receivers and is M16 bolt carrier group compatible, so no proprietary bolt carrier group is required.
