Description
The Battle Arms Development Workhorse 16-inch complete upper receiver is an AR-15 upper assembly built for shooters who want a ready-to-mount barrel and handguard combination. It is chambered in 223 Wylde, a chambering designed to support both .223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO ammunition.
The upper is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished with a black Type III hard coat anodized surface. The 16-inch barrel is made from 4150V chrome moly vanadium steel and uses an M4 barrel extension, a mid-length gas system, and a low-profile .750-inch gas block. An M-LOK free-float rail, an A2 flash hider, and an M4 feed ramp are included. The upper is ambidextrous in configuration.
It is listed for use with AR-15 lower receivers and is a complete upper, so it does not require separate barrel or handguard assembly.
