Description
The Battle Arms Development Workhorse is a 16-inch AR-15 upper receiver chambered in 5.56 NATO for semi-automatic rifles built on the AR-15 platform. It is intended for shooters assembling or upgrading an AR-15 rifle who want a mid-length gas system and a free-float M-LOK handguard.
The upper uses a forged 7075 T6 receiver and a 4150 chrome-moly vanadium barrel with a nitride chrome finish, a 1:7 twist rate, an M4 barrel extension, a low-profile .750 inch gas block, and a 1/2-28 muzzle thread. An A2 flash hider is fitted to the muzzle, and the overall length is 24.5 inches.
The 15-inch M-LOK free-float handguard provides attachment points along its length. The bolt carrier group and charging handle are not included and must be purchased separately.
