Spikes Tactical Generation 2 Billet AR-15 Upper 223 Rem/5.56 NATO Mil-Spec Barrel Nut

The Spikes Tactical Generation 2 Billet Upper Receiver is an AR-15 upper receiver machined from 7075 T6 billet aluminum for use with 223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO chamberings. It is designed as a functional alternative to forged upper receivers.

The receiver is finished in black Type III hardcoat anodizing and weighs 10.4 ounces. The M4 feed ramps are cut before anodizing, and the side walls are flared to reduce the risk of accidental bolt release. The receiver is machined to accept the Magpul BAD lever and certain other aftermarket bolt catch levers, though not all aftermarket bolt catches are compatible.

The upper includes a Mil-Spec barrel nut, forward assist, ejection port door, ejection port door spring, and ejection port door rod.
